The Korean lab we work with has been making hydrogel for decades with natural, well tested ingredients. It goes on properly cold, it stays put while you get on with your morning, and it feels like the good part of a facial.

A compound found in every living cell. Korea's regulator recognises it at 0.04% for softening the look of fine lines, and that is exactly the level we use.

the tone evener
Niacinamide, if you read labels. It helps the skin under your eye look brighter and less blotchy, and it is one of the best studied ingredients in skincare.
Gentle enough for daily use
the morning de-puffer
The same molecule as your coffee, from unroasted beans. It works on the blue grey kind of shadow that comes from a short night, which is the kind most people have.
Less useful on pigment or a deep tear trough

Centella, known as tiger grass, has been used on irritated skin for centuries. Panthenol is vitamin B5. Together they settle the area down, which matters on skin this thin.

Straight answers
For a few hours, yes, and it is worth being clear about which few hours. Hyaluronic acid pulls water into the top layers of skin, so the area looks plumper, smoother and brighter the moment you peel the patch off. That is real, it is measurable, and it is why people use these before a wedding, a flight or a photograph.
What they will not do is change the structure of your face permanently. Anyone selling you that is selling you something else.
Whenever you have fifteen minutes. Morning before a meeting, afternoon slump, on the sofa at eleven at night, on a plane, in the bath. There is no wrong time and nothing in the formula that cares.
Order matters more than timing: put them on clean skin, before your serum. The patch is the hydrating step, so anything underneath just gets pressed in instead. Pat in whatever is left when you take them off, then moisturiser, and SPF if the sun is up.
As often as you like. There is nothing in the formula that needs a rest day, which is the point of keeping retinal and acids out of it. Most people land on two or three times a week and use one before anything that involves a camera. A ten pair pack is two weeks of weekdays, a thirty pair jar is most of a season.
Yes. Hydrogel grips wet skin properly, which is the whole reason this category moved away from paper masks. You can make breakfast, answer emails and shout at a match in them. Talking and laughing a lot will eventually shift them, so press the edges back down and carry on.
You do not have to, they go on cold as they are. But twenty minutes in the fridge makes a real difference on a puffy morning if you want the full shock of it. Do not freeze them.
No. Nothing sits on the surface to rub off onto your face, your pillow or your fingers, which is exactly what the Swiss engineering side of this is for.
Every colourway is tested for transfer and staining over a twenty minute wear, and none of them go near the eye itself. Sit the patch on the bone under your eye, not on the lid.
It depends which kind you have, and most brands will not tell you that. Caffeine helps with the vascular sort, the blue grey look of a short night. If yours are pigment, or a shadow cast by a hollow under the eye, no patch on earth touches them. Hydration will still make the whole area look smoother and brighter for a few hours.
No. It gives its water up to your skin on the first wear, so a second one has almost nothing left to give, and it is a wet surface that has been on a face. One wear, then bin it.
The formula was built to be boring in the best way: no fragrance, no essential oils, no retinal, no acids, no growth factors. That makes it a reasonable choice for sensitive skin and an easy one during pregnancy, though ask your midwife or doctor if you would rather be sure. Nothing about it is gendered. Contact lenses are fine, since the patch never touches your lid. Patch test on your inner arm first if your skin is reactive.
